so what makes a tookies marshmallow?
it'a takes quite a team to make just one tookies gourmet marshmallow!
first you have to have the 'idea' of the marshmallow, what flavor? what will it look like? what ingredients will you need? and this is just chapter one, before the actual making, preparing, photographing, marketing...so much for just marshmallows?? well tookies marshmallows are not just any average marshmallow. oh. MY. word! tookies marshmallows are quite an experience. they are not little marshmallows you can dunk in your coffee, or make a smore with. they are JUMBO in size, soft, fluffly and melt in your mouth,

let's look at the tookies 'cotton candy' gourmet marshmallow...a triple-colored, pale blue, pink and purple, fluffly cotton candy marshmallow, with our exclusive cotton candy 'krunchie' topping, check it out below...
how on earth was this marshmallow born?
well let us tell you! it started with this young man...
his name is bryce!
he and his family are tookie's customers...and on one of their orders his mom wrote a note saying her son (bryce) wanted to know if we ever made cotton candy marshmallows, if not, would we ever like to make a new flavor!
so...we said sure! we would come up with the creation
and he would be our first shipment and taste tester!

a few weeks later...he was doing what you see in the photo above!

the results, of bryce's critiquing?? he loved them and wouldn't change a thing! he especially loved our exclusive cotton candy krunch topping.
since this idea, bryce has helped tookies to create two other AMAZING gourmet marshmallows!
he came up with the idea of tookies cheesecake YES cheesecake gourmet marshmallows,and oh boy...are they EVER divine!! they are our cheesecake marshmallow on top of our own exclusive graham recipe crust...bryce and his mom's review...'that graham cracker crust is out of this world good!' take a look for yourself!
and tookies country caramel apple gourmet marshmallows, they are
just like a caramel apple you get at the country fair! they are our sweet fluffy Granny Smith apple marshmallow and drizzled with crunchy caramel, topped with chopped roasted peanuts.

Traditional Banana Foster was originated in New Orleans, Louisiana, they include bananas, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon cookied, then iginited with rum, served with vanilla ice cream and walnuts. So extravagant!

oh, MY word!! they are our banana marshmallow loaded with chocolate chunks, toasted pecans and toasted coconut, hand poured, then topped with MORE slow roasted pecans, (we roast ourselves), toasted coconut, (we toast ourselves) and topped with drizzled chocolate!

One of the best things about Tookies gourmet marshmallows is how we hand package them! They look so pretty in our packaging decorated, labeled and color twined with a pretty bow, ready to give as a gift immediately.
summing all of this fun journey we are taking with bryce and kathryn, has been so incredibly fun! bryce and kathryn have already given us lists with MORE ideas!!

ReplyDeleteWell, if you are looking for gourmet marshmallows, you've certainly come to the right place! Tookies marshmallows are HUGE, like the size of a slice of cake! I found Tookies on their Etsy shop, and ordered a few marshmallows to try...I've been hooked ever since, and have since become a regular customer. It has been loads of fun, too, being able to suggest a few ideas and seeing them become actual marshmallows being sold in the Tookies shop on Etsy!!!
